Privacy Policy
We take your privacy seriously. When using CleanUp, you are trusting us with your personal information, and trusting that we will use and share it appropriately. We deeply care about maintaining that trust intact. For this reason, we have written our privacy guidelines and practices in this policy (the “Privacy Policy”).
Please read our Privacy Policy thoroughly, as we want you to understand how we collect, use, and share your data. By using the Services, you acknowledge your acceptance of the practices and policies described below, and you hereby consent that we will collect, use, and share your information in the following ways.
Remember, your use of the Services is at all times subject to CleanUp’s Terms of Service (the “Terms”), which includes this Privacy Policy by reference. Any capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy without definitions have the definitions given to them in the Terms.
What is the scope of our Privacy Policy?
This Privacy Policy covers how CleanUp and its affiliates use your personal data collected from your access or your use of the Services. This policy applies to all users of the CleanUp platforms, including our mobile app, website and other features related to the Services. It does not apply to the practices of third-party companies that we don't directly control or own, or people that we don't manage.
Will we ever change our Privacy Policy?
As we are constantly improving the Services and complying with federal and state laws, we may, from time to time, update this Privacy Policy. In the event we change any material from our Privacy Policy, you will be alerted via email, via the Services, by placing a notice on the cleanupmobileapp.com site, and/or by other communication means. Remember, if you have opted out of receiving legal notice emails from CleanUp, or if you provided an antiquated and/or inactive email address, those legal notices will still govern your use of the Services. You are fully responsible for reading and understanding such legal notices. By accessing and/or using the Services, after the Privacy Policy has been updated, you are effectively agreeing to all changes made.
What information do we collect?
Through the means explained below, Cleanup asks for and collects the following information from you when you use or receive the Services. This information is necessary for the proper performance of the Services. Without it, we would not be able to provide you all the requested services. If you demand that information to be deleted, you may lose access to the Services.
Information that is necessary
This information you provide to us directly, and it is paramount for the adequate performance of the Services.
Account Information. When registering on any of the CleanUp platforms, we require certain personal information to set up your account. Such information includes: first name, last name, email address, phone number, home address, date of birth, and a profile picture.
Home Information. In addition to your home address, we require the dimensions and specifications of your home. For example, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms you have, and their respective sizes. This information is crucial, as it helps us provide you with the fairest prices for the Services.
Pet Information. For the safety and comfort of everyone, we ask you to inform us if you have any pets residing at your home, what type of pets they are, and comment on their behavioural characteristics.
Identity Verification Information. To create and maintain a trusted environment, we ask for identity verification information, such as images of your driving license, national ID card, government issued ID, or other authentication information. If you are applying for a Cleaner profile, we may ask you for your Social Security Number (SSN) in order to perform a Background Check.
Financial Information. To use certain features of the Services, like booking or scheduling a service, you may provide us or our service providers with financial information such as your bank account or credit card information.
Location Information. When you provide us with your home address, we may collect some general information about your location. We may also infer information from your IP address, or if you consent, from your geolocation.
Communications. When you communicate with CleanUp or use any of the CleanUp platforms to communicate with other users, we collect information about such communication and any information you choose to provide. For example, Residents may communicate with Cleaners through the messaging feature offered on the Services, or you may email the CleanUp team through email, text message or telephone. Residents may also communicate with Cleaners through a telephone number provided on the Services, for which a third-party provider will be involved and used to track such communication. We do so to prevent fraud, enforce the Terms, and for quality and training purposes. In this case, CleanUp will store all data of the communication, which includes the date, time and content of it.

Remember, some of this information is public to other users as indicated in your account settings.

Examples of this include information to verify your identity or for other fraud or safety protection purposes or information that enhances our ability to market products or services that may be of interest to you. Online Analytics and Tailored Advertising
Analytics
We may use third-party web analytics services on the Services, such as those of Google Analytics. These service providers use the sort of technology described in the “Information Collected Automatically” section above to help us analyze how users use the Services, including by noting the third-party website from which you arrive. The information collected by the technology will be disclosed to or collected directly by these service providers, who will then use that to evaluate your use of the Services. We also use Google Analytics for certain purposes related to advertising, as described in the following section. To prevent Google Analytics from using your information for analytics, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
Tailored Advertising
Third parties whose products or services are accessible or marketed via the Services may also place cookies or other tracking technologies on your computer, mobile phone, or other device to collect information about your use of the Services in order to (a) inform, optimize, and serve marketing content based on past visits to our websites and other sites and (b) report how our marketing content impressions, other uses of marketing services, and interactions with these marketing impressions and marketing services are related to visits to our websites. We may also allow other third parties (e.g., ad networks and ad servers such as Google Analytics) to serve tailored marketing to you and to access their own cookies or other tracking technologies on your computer, mobile phone, or other device you use to access the Services. We neither have access to, nor does this Privacy Policy govern, the use of cookies or other tracking technologies that may be placed on your computer, mobile phone, or other device you use to access the Services by non-affiliated, third-party ad technology, ad servers, ad networks or any other non-affiliated third parties. Those parties that use these technologies may offer you a way to opt out of targeted advertising as described below. You may receive tailored advertising on your computer through a web browser. Cookies may be associated with de-identified data linked to or derived from data you voluntarily have submitted to us (e.g., your email address) that we may share with a service provider in hashed, non-human-readable form.
If you are interested in more information about tailored browser advertising and how you can generally control cookies from being put on your computer to deliver tailored advertising, you may visit the Network Advertising Initiative's Consumer Opt-Out Link and/or the Digital Advertising Alliance's Consumer Opt-Out Link to opt-out of receiving tailored advertising from companies that participate in those programs. To opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising or customize Google Display Network ads, you can visit the Google Ads Settings page. Please note that, to the extent advertising technology is integrated into the Services, you may still receive advertising content even if you opt out of tailored advertising. In that case, the advertising content will be present; it will not be tailored to your interests. Also, we do not control any of the above opt-out links and are not responsible for any choices you make using these mechanisms or the continued availability or accuracy of these mechanisms. If your browsers are configured to reject cookies when you visit this opt-out page, or you subsequently erase your cookies, use a different computer or change web browsers, your NAI or DAA opt-out may no longer be effective. Additional information is available on NAI's and DAA's websites, accessible by the above links.

Each operating system−iOS for Apple devices, Android for Android devices, and Windows for Microsoft devices−provides its own instructions on how to prevent the delivery of tailored in-application marketing content. You may review the support materials and/or the privacy settings for the respective operating systems in order to opt out of tailored in-application advertising.
